The honor of Overall Jampion- Berry Best Raspberry Jam in the World has been awarded to me, Trisha Gagnon! I entered my jam in an international competition in Perthshire, Scotland and just found out that my jam was voted First Place in the Artisan category, and “Best Overall” the entries from around the world, WOW! A big thankyou to Blairgowrie and East Perthshire Tourist Association’s Love to Eat – Food Heritage Project for launching this competition, along with chef Jacqueline O’Donnel and all the judges.
If you would like to try some of my jam please come to one of my Farmers’ Market dates or
John Reischman and The Jaybirds concerts. You can also order it on line and I’ll send you some.
I’m at the Abbotsford Farm and Country Market with my Jam , Music- CD’s, and Buttermilk Biscuits, Saturday, October 8th and I will be at the Winter Market too. I will be at the Chilliwack Farmers’ Market for the last time this season this coming Saturday, September 10th. Ambleside Farmers’ Market, Sundays September 18th and October 9th.
